Are you looking for an experienced host organisation for your Erasmus+ project in Sicily?

CISS – Cooperazione Internazionale Sud Sud is a Sicilian organisation working in international cooperation, human rights, social inclusion, youth participation and intercultural learning.

We are open to hosting Erasmus+ Youth Exchanges, training courses and other international mobility activities in Palermo. We have extensive experience organising youth exchanges and mobility projects, both as a lead organisation and as a local host partner.

We can support partner organisations throughout the entire preparation and implementation process, including:

identifying suitable accommodation and meal options;
organising local transport, visits and excursions;
designing and facilitating educational activities;
contacting local associations and community organisations;
adapting the programme to the project’s learning objectives and participants’ needs;
preparing an estimated budget for accommodation, food and additional services.
CISS is particularly committed to involving young people with fewer opportunities, including unaccompanied minors and young people from migrant backgrounds. We believe that international mobility can offer them valuable opportunities for participation, socialisation and intercultural exchange, while also helping international participants gain a deeper understanding of Sicilian society and its diverse communities.

In a recent Erasmus+ Youth Exchanges, we hosted several participants from different countries including unaccompanied minors from Sub-Saharan African backgrounds living in Sicily. CISS coordinated the local organisations, supported the lead organisations with logistics and implemented a programme adapted to their pedagogical priorities.

We also have access to an excellent venue located directly by the sea, suitable for hosting Youth Exchanges, training courses, workshops and group activities.

The programme can include cultural visits and opportunities to discover Palermo and Sicily, while remaining fully adaptable to the project’s objectives, methodology and target group.
