“…and they lived happily ever after in Erasmus+ world”

Fairy tales play important role in every child’s life. Often, when we grow up, we do not realize that real world is so much like fairy tales – there are good characters, there are bad characters – the only difference is that, if we want a happy ending, we need work hard to create it. Ugly duckling is a fairytale known to every child – there is no a person who does not know about little bird that was by accident born in barnyard and who suffers abuse and discrimination from the others around him only because it looks different until, one day, he grows up and becomes a beautiful swan admired by everyone.

One of the issues we want to address through this project is negative perception many people in our countries but also around the Europe and world have towards diversity. People do not like each other since they have different religion or culture or simply do things differently or have different world view. Considering this problem there is a big need to talk about diversity and promote it as something positive and enriching. People should learn from each other and respect each other despite being different. We are all different in a special way.

The aim of this project is to bring together young people and provide space for discussion and mutual learning, who will use their creativity to develop musical with Ugly duckling as a main character and which will promote positive attitude towards diversity.
