An essay competition on fake news among young people

An essay contest among young people conducted in a few countries in CEE. The application will be submitted to German Marshall Fund.

We need our partners to organize a national contest/completion among young people in their country on the following topic: "Why fake news are dangerous and how we can handle them". The aim is to make the young generation aware of the problem. The contest should reach as big audience as possible. It will most likely take place in the second part of 2017. We will do the same competition in a few other countries. The best essays from all partner countries together with some best practices how to tackle the fake news, will be published in a special book (in pdf and paper format)
