AI at Work: Youth, Future Skills and Critical Thinking

Anka Youth Group is preparing an Erasmus+ KA152 Youth Exchange application for the 1 October 2026 deadline.

The project, AI at Work: Youth, Future Skills and Critical Thinking, is planned as a 7-day Youth Exchange in Ankara, Türkiye, from 21 to 27 June 2027, involving young people aged 18–30.

The project was developed in response to a small-scale needs assessment conducted among young people. We collected 37 responses, including 36 from the 18–30 target group. The results indicated that young people already use artificial intelligence frequently, but many have had limited structured opportunities to develop critical, responsible and professional ways of using it.

The project will explore topics such as the future of work, practical use of AI in different professions, youth employability and future skills, critical evaluation and verification of AI-generated information, privacy, ethical use of AI, media and information literacy, and the risk of over-reliance on digital tools.

The current partnership includes Anka Youth Group from Türkiye and Asociația Vieți Schimbate from Romania. Ionia Plus from Italy is also included in the application and the partnership process is ongoing.

The final learning programme will continue to be developed together with the partner organisations and their young people. We want participants to contribute actively to preparation, programme co-design, implementation, evaluation, dissemination and follow-up rather than only attend the mobility.

We are currently looking for 1–2 additional reliable partner organisations or informal youth groups from other Erasmus+ Programme countries.

We are particularly interested in partners that:

– work with young people aged 18–30;
– can involve young people actively in the preparation process;
– can recruit and prepare approximately 8 young participants and one group leader;
– are willing to participate in online preparation meetings;
– can contribute to non-formal learning activities during the exchange;
– have relevant experience in areas such as youth employability, digital skills, critical thinking, media and information literacy, artificial intelligence or emerging technologies, or non-formal education;
– can support dissemination and follow-up activities in their own country.

Previous Erasmus+ experience is welcome but not essential. We are mainly looking for partners that communicate reliably, work directly with young people and want to genuinely co-create the project rather than only send participants.
