Agriculture as a tool of social and labour integration of disadvantaged people

Progetto H is going to submit a KA1 project on SOCIAL FARMING.
The main project objectives are:
- utilize farming and agriculture as tools of social and labour integration of disadvantaged people (people with disabilities and ex-prisoners);
- investigate the methodologies applied and/or developed and/or implemented by other organizations at European level who work in supply chain understood mean as "work placement - production - processing – distribution” of food (catering) in their territories. The aim is to a social mark/logo linked to social farming/agriculture as well as catering.

We are going to search for partners who have experience as well as skills/competences on SOCIAL FARMING.

Progetto H is a social cooperative whose main objective is the social reintegration of disadvantaged persons and disabled. Due its long experience in that issue, Progetto H is confident that job is an effective rehabilitation tool. Progetto H considers both farming and in agriculture as the optimal field of experimentation to be adopted for the social and mental rehabilitation of disadvantaged persons. Its main is goal is to know and exchange methodologies adopted by other European organizations that recognize the work integration (specifically job placement in agricultural sector) as an important means of inclusion/social reintegration of disadvantaged persons.
