Agdz Harmony – Empowering Youth through Solidarity, Sustainability & Culture

Agdz Harmony is a transformative volunteering project hosted by Agdz Volunteers Without Borders in the oasis town of Agdz, Morocco, under the European Solidarity Corps framework. The project combines environmental protection, community development, and cultural exchange to create meaningful impact for both volunteers and local residents.

Volunteers participate in both short- and long-term missions, engaging in diverse activities such as:

Supporting oasis conservation and climate action through reforestation, waste management, and eco-awareness campaigns.

Organizing educational workshops and creative activities for children and youth at local schools and community centers.

Promoting cultural heritage and intercultural dialogue, helping preserve local traditions while encouraging European values of inclusion and solidarity.

Assisting in digital literacy and women’s empowerment programs, enabling social participation and personal growth.

Agdz Harmony offers a holistic experience where volunteers gain hands-on skills, intercultural understanding, and a deep sense of solidarity. Through shared work, dialogue, and creativity, participants help strengthen community resilience while fostering their own personal and professional development.

The project welcomes sending organizations (LEADs) interested in building long-term cooperation to send motivated volunteers to Morocco and to co-create sustainable, impactful initiatives for youth empowerment, environmental protection, and social inclusion.
