ADDRESSING MENTAL WELL-BEING

Importance of addressing the mental well-being of the youngsters (people in general) due to the emergence of coexistence of human and artificial intelligence.

If you are planning to address issues of mental health or well-being in your KA2 project, we can support you.

CENTER SPIRALA–Center of Selfmobility is NGO research-development institute. We can cover issues relating to mental well-being, human-AI coexistence, sustainable development, inclusive education, thinking and human mindset innovations, digital addiction, career guidance, aging, community engagement, by possibly including various target groups. Our approaches in EU projects are: creation and implementation of training modules, qualitative research, and evaluation.

Inside the actual period, we are focusing on the topic of 'mental well-being', which is a hybrid of 'mental health' and 'well-being', by referring to the mental aspect of well-being. This topic is becoming very relevant nowadays, especially due to AI, which introduces additional uncertainty into our lives regarding capacity building, competencies, soft skills, future skills, inclusive education, etc.

Mental well-being can be addressed as holistically as possible by considering various elements of our mental state, such as loneliness (affecting the elderly, youngsters due to their screen-based lives, migrants, and other vulnerable groups); vocational unpredictability and additional working stress (due to an uncertain vocational situation arising from AI and the emergence of AGI); an identity vacuum (especially affecting youngsters due to the emergence of a liquid society and a real-digital reality); the perception of time pressure arising from the intertwining of physical and digital time and space; weak understanding of digital addiction as the fast growing addiction (especially affecting youngsters), etc. Considering all this, it seems important that we approach this mental aspect of human well-being.

If you are planning to establish a KA2 consortium within which mental well-being issues will be addressed, we can enhance your project proposal by incorporating additional elements.
