Activism and Street art: Reclaiming public space

SPARK is a civic action and activism movement designed to create a visible/sustainable platform for youth voices to be heard and influence local decision-making

Ob1. To create opportunities for a minimum of 40 young people to actively engage and learn to participate in the democratic life of the community during the 12 months of the project.
Ob2 To formulate and publicly support at least 3 concrete local policy proposals, resulting from the youth-led consultation process, ensuring that their visual action (Street Art) is followed by a real impact on the decisions of local authorities.
Ob3 To strengthen the key skills (advocacy, organization, communication and facilitation) for the core of 9 young leaders-facilitators, ensuring the transfer of responsibility for mobilization, mentoring and implementation to them.
Ob4 To revitalize a public space through artistic intervention, using it as a visual tool to raise awareness on the topic of Inclusion and Diversity among the general public and to lay the foundations of an informal Management Committee to ensure the sustainability of the revitalized space.
