Activation of young people in rural areas- Mission Possible!

MAIN SUBJECT: The participation of young people from rural areas in the life of municipalities and regions is of utmost importance not only nation states but also for the European Union. An important role in youth activities has local and regional authorities. With the support and encouragement from local authorities contributing to the social integration of young people and their direct involvement in public life. This project is a real chance for young people to learn about democratic processes to become more active citizens in their local community and to learn about best practices for increasing youth aktivnosta in rural areas. By participating in the project young people will improve their skills to critically analyze political and social issues and will learn how to present and defend public position before local authorities.

GROUP SIZE:
- 5 young participants aged 18-29
- 1 leader per organization (no age limit of the leader);
- Total: 36 participants from 6 programme countries

DURATION: 04.04.2017 - 10.04.2017 ( 7 working days + 2 days for travel)
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: Working language: English; Financial conditions:
- Organizers will provide accommodation and three meals a day - during the whole event days;
- Transport costs following the official calculator for distance Erasmus+
- NO PARTICIPATION FEE.
