We are excited to announce ACCESS - ACTION, a dynamic training course designed to foster social inclusion and active participation through the transformative power of sports, arts, and culture. Hosted in the historical and vibrant city of Bursa, this project brings together dedicated youth workers from across the Erasmus+ programme countries to explore how we can create more inclusive environments for young people.
This project is designed as a training course that creates an inclusive social space where young people can gain shared experiences through sports, cultural, and artistic activities, while supporting their active participation in social life. Throughout the program, participants will take part in sports sessions and also have the opportunity to co-create, share, and interact through cultural and artistic workshops.
The process aims to strengthen social bonds, enhance solidarity, and foster an inclusive environment built on shared experiences. Each workshop will be conducted by expert trainers and practitioners in their respective fields, ensuring that participants receive both theoretical input and practical, hands-on learning. The training course will cover topics such as sports, culture, arts, and advocacy, encouraging participants to engage actively, collaborate in group projects, and present their own creative outputs.
Objectives
• To equip youth workers with non-formal education tools centered on sports and arts.
• To explore innovative ways of promoting social inclusion for young people with fewer opportunities.
• To foster international cooperation and create a network for future youth initiatives.
• To encourage active citizenship and advocacy through creative expression.
Target Group:
- Youth workers, trainers, youth leaders Coachs, special needs teachers, sociologists,
Sports coaches and sports education specialists;
- Professionals working in the field of psychology (counselling, psychological resilience, psychologists, physiotherapist )
- Arts and culture professionals, art therapists
- Preferably 24+,
- With at least 2 years’ experience in the relevant field
- For gender balance, 2 women and 2 man from each country
We are looking for partner organizations from Erasmus+ programme countries that are:
• Experienced in youth work and social inclusion projects.
• Motivated to actively participate in the project and send participants who are eager to contribute.
• Ready to commit to the dissemination and visibility of the project results.
• Able to support the project in terms of participant selection and travel logistics.
Expected Skills and Motivation:
This training course aims to bring together experienced and knowledgeable youth workers, sports coaches, special needs teachers, and professionals working in the fields of psychology and the arts, particularly those who have worked with or are keen to work with individuals with special needs. Participants are expected not only to be open to learning, but also to possess the motivation to take an active role in workshops within their own areas of expertise, share their experiences, and contribute to group dynamics.
Participants are expected to:
● Demonstrate a desire to develop inclusive practices,
● Show motivation to adapt methods learned from field visits and best practice examples to their own
local contexts,
● Be open to international collaboration and willing to engage in joint production with colleagues from different cultures,
● Demonstrate a commitment to developing and implementing project outputs within their own field and country,
• Be prepared to integrate non-formal education-based methods into their professional practice,
• Participate in the learning process with high motivation and take on responsibilities in group work.
The aim is for participants to return at the end of the project not only as professionals capable of designing more inclusive youth activities;
but also as professionals who can develop approaches sensitive to diverse needs,
strengthen their international networks, and translate what they have learnt into concrete
projects within their own organisations.

Travel costs will be reimbursed according to the Erasmus+ distance calculator rules.
