Project name: Acceleration of labor market integration of immigrants (ALMIM)
The overall aim of the project is to teach youth workers the necessary ways to quickly enter the labor market for migrants and refugees who obtain legal resident status by uncovering their abilities, matching their skills to local needs.
Special goals are:
-To teach youth workers methods to reduce language, civic and intercultural barriers between immigrants and host country society in order to facilitate the employment of refugees.
-To teach youth workers to map and profile the skills of refugees and immigrants in order to meet the needs and shortcomings of the local labor market.
- To show youth workers the opportunities that refugees and immigrants can benefit from in the context of employment.
Target groups:
The main target group of the project is youth workers and youth leaders working in institutions and organizations related to refugees and immigrants in partner countries.
The final beneficiaries of the project are refugee and immigrant youth with whom the relevant institutions and organizations work.
Number of participants: 2 youth workers from each country
