A SEA OF FLUTES

The project was born with the aim of bringing together young people to talk about, enhance and
protect the environment and culture of small and large coastal communities in a European dimension, discussing the effects of climate change and of green and digital transformation.
Through music, seen not only as an inclusive and educational discipline but as an art promoting social and cultural values, young people will create a documentary dedicated to the stories of life linked to the sea in Europe.
Different realities compared that are told through the eyes of small fishermen, the elderly and young people of the community. Knowledge and experiences that revolve around sea life, testimonies of life are explored and aspects such as sustainable fishing are investigated in order to enhance and protect the entire ecosystem.
The objective of the documentary will be to enhance the maritime cultural identity of each partner by projecting it into the European dimension, respect and protection of the environment will be promoted with the dissemination of good management practices and awareness of climate change, cultures, knowledge and arts will be valorised.
The project for young people aims to promote the intercultural exchange of knowledge and experiences, to strengthen European identity, to increase awareness on two major issues such as climate change and green and digital transformation,
to stimulate participation and civic commitment to intervene in social and environmental policies.
