A Place to Thrive (PDA) - Partners Needed

Looking for Partners for a Professional Development Activity in Portugal, related to the topic of Family Foster Care.

The activity will address multi-layered societal challenges connected to children and young people at risk, especially those in foster care. The profile of participants taking part in the activity are Youth Workers working with children and young people at risk (or those with an interest in this professional area) and other Youth stakeholders such as people working with or for Municipalities, Commissions for the Protection of Children and Young People, those working in Schools, Medical Centers, Law Institutions and civil society Organizations. The activity is designed to include three separate but complementary parts in the same mobility: a Seminar to spark inspiration and explore challenges and opportunities, understanding foster care in European context and exchange of good practices; a Training Course to foster growth, with different skill-building sessions, peer learning, collaborative exercises, and case studies for Youth Workers and a Partnership Building Activity to enable connections, in order to design future projects and further collaboration.
