100 km to Peace

We invite participants to take a journey to find inner peace through yoga, meditation, self-discovery and hiking "the 100 km" with us.

The Lycian Way (Turkish: Likya Yolu) is a marked long-distance trail in southwestern Turkey around part of the coast of ancient Lycia. It is over 500 km in length and is named after the Lycian civilization that ruled in this region.

With this project, we would like to combine two goals together. The first goal of the project is to promote this cultural heritage in Europe; and then secondly, to invite participants to take a journey to find inner peace through yoga, meditation, self-discovery and hiking the way with us.

The project is designed as a youth exchange that brings together 30 young people from different parts of Europe. Activities will take place in different locations along the way. Some days participants will stay in tents, some other time in a hostel. During the project, we aim to walk 100 km of the Lycian Way. The activity program is designed to be 8 days, plus 2 days for travelling.

We are looking for partners that are interested and experienced in sportive activities, peace education, wellness, or digital storytelling. In reference to Camino de Santiago, partners from Spain, Portugal and France are highly welcome.
