Zeleno mače / The Green Kitten

Zeleno mače was formally established in December 2020 by a group of local activists with previous experiences with civil society engagement. On 27 of January 2021 we received confirmation of formal registration which granted us the legal person rights.

We are a small rural organization located in an underdeveloped and depopulated village in multicultural Danube River region in eastern Croatia. The primary goal of the group is to strengthen local civil society capacities and to use them for regeneration and the development of the local communities.

We are keen to establish international cooperation with partner organizations from around Europe and the rest of the World. Our potential partners should keep in mind our limited organizational and administrative capacities, yet significant potentials in creation of positive effects in one of the least developed parts of the European Union.
