Zavod VOZIM (full name VOZIM, Institute for Innovative Education (VOZIM, Zavod za inovativno izobraževanje)) is a non-profit, non-governmental organization from Celje (Slovenia).
In our work, we focus mainly on young people. In a different way, through the stories of the disabled, we want to give them a way to learn about safety - through the stories of those who have experienced various accidents (traffic, leisure, sports, alcohol). At the same time, we include injured people with disabilities in preventive youth work and provide them with a position in society through social integration and empowerment.
Based on the perceived needs among young people and among the injured - disabled, we focus on four main intertwined areas:
• prevention (road safety, alcohol, drugs and in other accidents).
• education for sustainable mobility.
• work with young people (prevention, leisure and promotion of a healthy lifestyle);
• Involving people with fewer opportunities - people with disabilities (social integration and empowerment) to youth workers and the promotion of their non-discrimination.
We have experiences developing and implementing different projects, programs, award winning social marketing campaigns as well as experiences with Erasmus+ programs as partner and applicant organization.
