Zarika Association

Zarika Association was established in Bulgaria in 2022 by an experienced team of changemakers from the fields of non-formal education, youth work, training, for-profit sector and philanthropy.

As an NGO, we implement activities for public benefit, expressed in contributing to the development of children, youth and adults from Bulgaria, Europe and other countries in the world by developing personal qualities and experience, social and emotional intelligence and sense of entrepreneurship and initiative, promoting embodiment, intercultural and international dialogue, and humanitarianism.

Our main topics are entrepreneurship, arts, and global educations and we contribute to youth work and adult education.
Important verticals that we aim to have as part of all our activities are digital transformation, social inclusion, and sustainability.

Our vision is a global community united by empathy and shared humanity.

Our mission is to promote personal growth, active citizenship, and intercultural understanding by developing resilience and fighting apathy (a.k.a. "Be the change").

Our strategy includes to inspire individuals and engage communities, empower people and communities to take action, and bridge cultural gaps. We achieve it by educating people to take initiative, encouraging social entrepreneurship (taking initiative, being active citizens, building employability skills), and delivering transformational learning experiences (building life skills and resilience, expanding the mind).
