YouthGrid

YouthGrid e.V is a non-profit youth and education association from Telgte in North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany, founded in 2026 and recognised as tax-privileged (gemeinnützig). Most of our founders and board members have a migration background themselves. We know from our own experience how hard it can be for young people from immigrant and low-income families to keep up digitally.

Locally, we run free courses and an open drop-in space for children and young people. They learn the basics of computers and the internet, take their first steps in coding and get help with digital learning. Everything is free, so no young person is left out because of money.

What makes us different is that we don't only teach digital skills, we also build digital tools. Our team develops software itself, such as learning platforms, web and mobile apps, interactive learning materials and project websites. In international projects we can take responsibility for the digital results, from the first idea to launch and maintenance after the project ends. Young people from our courses help us design and test what we build, so the tools actually work for the people they are made for.

We are looking for partners in Erasmus+ Cooperation Partnerships (KA210 and KA220) that plan a digital output and need a reliable partner to build it. We are also open to youth exchanges and mobility projects for youth workers on digital skills, AI, media, sustainability and inclusion.
