Youth Rescue Team

The Youth Rescue Team aim:
- to educate pre-primary first aid,
- to promote pro-social attitudes among young people.

YRT received a youth grant for Rescue Skills Workplace. It’s a first such a place in Warsaw which is created by the youth and equipped with modern rescue equipment.

Team members share their skills with peers as well as the local community by organizing workshops at events for local community.

They engage in volunteering and help their peers in difficult financial situations.

The team has been very successful in the first-aid competition (1st place in Na Ratunek, 3rd place in the Sanitary Services - Malta Order, 4th place in the GOPR Cup). They organize events to promote first aid knowledge, for example European Day of Cardiac Restoration.

The Youth Rescue Team actively cooperate with many security services - the Warsaw Fire Service, the Fire Brigade, the Main School of Fire Service, and many non-governmental organizations.
