Youth Regional Center

The Youth Regional Center is a government organization that operates under the supervision of the Ministry of Education, Culture, and Sport of Ajara. Because the organization receives government funding, our target groups are determined by the youth policy document established by the Georgian government. Our beneficiaries are young people aged 14-29 who live or study in the Ajara region. It is crucial for the center to engage all young people who meet these criteria, regardless of their sex, gender, sexual orientation, beliefs, etc. The center has a quota system for involving young people living in the highland region, ensuring their maximum participation in each project.

Even though the center was founded in 2019, we have succeeded in planning and implementing a wide variety of projects designed to achieve the key goals of our center. It is worth mentioning that before the organization was founded, our team conducted a survey to identify the needs of our target groups. Based on this research, the center has formulated the following objectives:

Promoting active citizenship, solidarity, and tolerance among young people.

Implementing and coordinating local, national, and international events and programs in the field of youth.

Involving young people in public, economic, and cultural life, and developing and implementing relevant programs to share international experiences and establish connections.

Developing, implementing, and coordinating programs to promote volunteerism, youth careers, and professional development.

Developing, implementing, and coordinating programs to identify and enhance the intellectual and physical abilities of young people in the Ajara region, helping them properly manage their free time and promote a healthy lifestyle.

Creating conditions for the inclusion and activation of young people with disabilities, as well as socially vulnerable individuals, in public life.

Collaborating with local and international organizations, establishing connections, and deepening cooperation for the development of the youth sector.

Collecting and analyzing information on youth needs.
Creating suitable conditions for revealing, forming, and developing the intellectual, personal, professional, and physical potential of the youth of the Autonomous Republic of Ajara based on the main directions of the state youth policy.

Deepening and promoting patriotism, environmental awareness, and civic values among young people.
