our municipality in charge for all this services also we have medical centre with CU and medical lab, x-Ray, we have centre for disabled people, our weather is Mediterranean weather not cold winter also not hot summer
in municipality building there is office for Palestinian Post, office for Ministry of Labor, office for Ministry of the Interior, office for Ministry of Social Affairs, office for Ministry of Agriculture, office for Chamber of Commerce, and we provided all essential services for this offices
20% of the population are employed in government we have 5% employed in private sector, 25% work as worker in Israel and Palestine, 10% farmer, 5% has own work.
the municipality established Youth Promoters group, which contain 15 youth (girls and boys), and locate an youth office in the municipality building, we have employee work as youth officer and he responsible about this group and make contact between them and the municipality and arrange their activity.
this youth promoters took 4 month training to be more familiar with youth work, they build yearly youth action plan (YAP) now they work on YAP 2015, this youth promoters was selected by specific methodology and they will select another youth promoters next year and they will transfer their knowledge for them and keep contact with them.
our municipality target group all the citizens especially during Youth promoters and their activates try to target the youths locally in both sex and also target the children, woman, old people, Marginalized groups To achieve community integration through youth and their activities
The Mission of Youth promoters (YPs) and youth officer is to assist in the development of the civic activism of youth through promoting youth initiatives and active participation. Activity Directions of the YPs:
- Promote volunteering among Youth and contribute to the recognition of volunteerism through: networking with local stakeholders; raising awareness of the impact of volunteering and advocating for the legal designation of voluntary work ; providing opportunities for participation in local and international voluntary projects.
- Increase youth participation in local and national decision-making processes and youth policy development through: involvement in policy-making groups; organizing activities to increase the effectiveness of youth policy procedures; contributing to the capacity-building of other youth organizations.
- Enhance cultural awareness and artistic expression among youth and encourage cross-border dialogue through: coordinating cultural events, including exhibitions, art residencies, and film screenings; offering information, opportunities for participation in local and international trainings and cross-cultural exchanges.
- Improve prospects for youth employability and support the personal and professional development of young people through: conducting workshops and trainings about volunteering, job skill development, inter-personal communication, conflict resolution, and healthy lifestyles.
we have an action plan for 2014 we did many activities for volunteering to serve the society (cleaning the town, draw some design in the streets, collect money and foods from rich people and distribute on poor family) and other activity to participating in the decision making (attend in municipal council meeting 2 meeting every month, we did public meeting between the municipality council members and the town citizens, we work on score cards to evaluate our municipality services) and to participate in the non formal education ( fun day for kids, we make very nice LARP to the students (6-10) years old) and the other to help the woman to their rights ( in our town girl was raped and killed so we do very big campaign to punish the person who do this and to change the laws to protect the woman

- we did Celebration for youth in the international youth day
- every year we arrange football Competition in municipality Stadium penta
- we have many activity in Ramdan

- we have training for youth about CV writing
- we have fun days for kids
- we have yearly agricultural and tradition festival
- we have olive festival
