Youth Initiative Group

The Association "Youth Initiative Group" is a voluntary, non-government and non-party youth organization, which conducts activity for private benefit, joining private individuals and legal entities, tasked with locating, analyzing and aiding the solution of problems concerning young people and their social integration, as well as conducting an youth-oriented policy in the field of education, employment, career advancement, healthcare, defending the common human, civic, social and cultural rights, fighting against discrimination, euro-integration, scientific research, IT, innovation, ecology, sports, culture and art etc.
Goals of "YIG" :
•Finding, analysing and finding solutions to problems relating to young people
•Aiding the personal growth and fulfilment of young people within the conditions of European integration
•Aiding the integration and socialisation of young people in adverse social circumstance
•Stimulating the contribution and active participation of young people in the public life
•Developing strong connections between young people, the education sector and the business sector
•Stimulating the realisation of innovative and original ideas
•Strengthening the principles of civic society.
Objectives:
•Establishing active dialogue, exchange of information and experience between young people and the active educational government and non-government structures on a local, national and international level
•Developing and conducting projects, related to the current academic, public and youth problems
•Applying for programs and financing activities as chief beneficiates, coordinators and/or partners
•Delivering current information from and about the European Union
•Aiding the personal and professional development of young people
•Organising socially useful charity initiatives
•Aiding the integration and social adaptation of poor and minority groups and people in a disadvantaged position
•Spreading information related to various programs and activities, useful to young people
•Defending natural sites and populated areas from pollution
•Conducting active media campaigns, in order to advance the goals of the Association.
