Youth Empowerment VNT

This group is very diverse having members with different backgrounds and different views of the world. Having participated in some Erasmus+
projects in the past, has created in each one of us, the feeling of wanting to do more and wanting to be more involved and active. By this, the idea of creating this group has started.
We are eager to be help other young people like us to have access to more and new opportunities, by participating in the fascinating experience of erasmus+. All of the members of this group have faced/are facing geographical or economical obstacles, which made us more grateful for having such experiences from the Erasmus+. Most of the young people from our area are facing the same issues that we faced and still are facing, and by creating this group we hope that it can tackle this obstacles and remove this disadvantage comparing to young people from the cities.
Being from a natural area that has been destroyed over the years by the fires, it also has pushed us to to do something, and be involved in saving our planet. We want to be active environmental agents of change and to pass this values to younger generations.
This program has changed each one of us in many different ways possible, making us more aware of the situation in many different countries that we had the chance to know, making us more empathic and more sensitized for the European values.
By this, we can say that our group goals are the following:

- promote the European values of solidarity and respect;
- help young people with fewer opportunities have the opportunity to participate in this kind of programs;
- show to the local community the value of volunteering and to push citizens to become active
