YOUth Connect

YOUth Connect is a non-governmental non-profit organization promoting self-empowerment and personal development of young people at local, national and international level through non-formal education, methods, lifelong learning, intercultural dialogue, international cooperation, networking and active civil society.
The organization, implementation and participation to projects concerning active citizenship on
European level aims to gain experience, knowledge and skills for personal and professional development and the awareness of European Union educational programs.
Basing on the European educational program Erasmus +, YOUth Connect organizes youth exchanges, voluntary programs, training courses, lectures on travel, workshops, seminars, conferences and more.

Further aims:

Social inclusion of young people with fewer skills creating optimal conditions. Respect for different cultural, social or ethnic identities, support of activities aiming to the elimination of racism, xenophobia and ethnic intolerance.

Development of existing communities combined to the possibility of creation of new communities related to the needs of youngsters and to the achievement of their potential.

Services in support of regional development.

To motivate young people to actively participate to the activities of non-governmental organizations.

To encourage the search for possibilities in Slovakia in the fields of education, labor, business, voluntary activities, opportunities for the youngsters.

Support of regional development and cross-border cooperation.

Promotion of volunteer work.

Develop solidarity and promote tolerance among young people, in particular in order to foster social cohesion in Europe.
Improvement of European integrity, connecting youngsters of different nations. Promotion of European and global co-operation of young people, communities and partner organizations.

To create a platform for learning, developing youth education, organizing projects, meetings and events.
