Youth Centre Alarm Pazin (Centar za mlade Alarm Pazin)

We are a young NGO situated in a small town called Pazin. We want to activate and inspire young people in our community to be more active, develop their interests and contribute to quality of life in our small town. The experience of participating in many European youth exchange projects showed us we can do a lot in our community, by thinking globally, and acting locally. Our town is situated in the centre of Istria region that is famous for its nature, sea and history. Our town is specific for its great natural beauty, and we consider it to be a hidden, non developed gem, which is rare in such a tourist part of Croatia. Using mostly non - formal and in - formal methods, we want our youngsters to develop a way of thinking and doing that is both healthy for their personal development, as well as the well - thought and gradual progress of a small community. Througout the year we organise activities like: Učka mountain march, vaterpolo lake tournament, lectures, workshops, professional orientations and info - day about "a life of a faculty student". We cooperate with other local associations to make Pazin even better place to live. We are very enthusiastic, active and not affraid to step out and offer our experiences of quality small town living with other partners! We are excited to hear from and collaborate with others! :-)
