Youth Association for Sports and Tourism “Zdravets”

Youth Association for Sports and Tourism “Zdravets” is a Bulgarian non-profit organisation working with young people in the fields of youth participation, social inclusion, volunteering, sport, tourism, non-formal learning and digital education. The organisation develops activities that support young people’s personal, social and professional development, with particular attention to participants with fewer opportunities and young people from smaller communities.
“Zdravets” organises educational, social, cultural, volunteering and youth initiatives, promotes active citizenship and encourages young people to take part in community life and decision-making processes. The organisation also works on the development of digital competences, innovative learning methods and the use of new technologies in education and youth work.
The organisation has experience in implementing Erasmus+ activities and international cooperation. Through its projects, it develops partnerships with organisations from other European countries, exchanges good practices and introduces new methods for non-formal education, inclusion and youth engagement.
A key priority of “Zdravets” is to create accessible opportunities for young people to acquire new skills, increase their confidence, participate in international activities and become more active in their local communities. The organisation aims to build long-term European partnerships and to use Erasmus+ as a tool for improving the quality and impact of its youth work.
