“Youth Assembly of Kosovo” is a Non-Governmental Organization, established in 2009 in Prishtina, by a team of active young people with rich experience in voluntary programs.
“Youth Assembly of Kosovo” has been created to represent youth voice of Kosovo and create a better social environment for everyone. Key areas of the organization's activities concern the defense of young people rights in local and national level by offering a broad spectrum of actions and youth involvement initiatives. Build a better world where young people are self-fulfilled as individuals and play a constructive role in the society.
Main goals of the organization:
• To promote the values of non-formal learning, volunteering, active citizenship and democracy for the creation of a better future for young people.
• To fight against negative social phenomena
• To promote youth rights, solidarity and respect for diversity
• To build healthy cooperation bridges between youth of all cities of Kosovo, and European countries as well.
• To locate and multiply the special cultural attributes of our society
• The breakdown of prejudices and stereotypes among people
• To raise an interest on social responsible entrepreneurship and employment opportunities
• To provide opportunities for self-assessment, development of skills, practical support of self-realization and promotion of gender equality
•To involve with minorities and immigrants
