The YWCA of Beirut is a member of the National Council of the Lebanon YWCA, which currently includes nine branches in different regions of Lebanon. It is a distinctive forum for the discussion of women's issues in the region, and serves as a venue for women to assemble and debate matters of interest as well as develop such skills as fashion design, business management, hair dressing, cosmetics and Kindergarten teacher training among others. It has a multi dimensional program strategy that includes several projects and activities; a technical college, a hostel for girls, a center for women, a cultural center, several community outreach activities, and a number of social advocacy issues.
The YWCA Beirut also pioneered the launching of educational as well as capacity building programs for women

Young Women’s Christian Association - Beirut (Beirut, Lebanon) has been accredited as a
Receiving and Sending Organisation. The accreditation code number is: 2014-1-FR02-KA110-009001 and the
number PIC is: 936058634 within the European Commission's Erasmus+ program. This accreditation is valid for three years
and authorizes the organisation to receive two volunteers.
Volunteers can support methods to promote foreign language under non-formal education.
