Genç Gönüllüler Derneği: A Movement for Creating Change in Society
Established in 2004, Genç Gönüllüler Derneği (Youth Volunteers Association) is an officially registered civil society organization recognized by the Ministry of Interior of the Republic of Turkey. Our mission is to contribute to making our society more livable, just, and sustainable while focusing on developing the leadership potential of young generations.
As GGD, we aim to be pioneers of social change by conducting various projects at the local, regional, national, and international levels. We embrace the following core principles to achieve our goals:
1. Youth-Centric Approach: Placing the needs, thoughts, and skills of young people at the center of our projects to maximize their potential.
2. Sustainability: Emphasizing sustainability in our projects to provide long-term benefits to our communities.
3. Collaboration: Expanding our scope of influence by collaborating with other civil society organizations, local governments, businesses, and international stakeholders.
4. Participation and Equality: Believing that everyone has an equal right to participate and basing our projects on these values.
5. Human Rights and Social Justice: Conducting work to achieve social justice while respecting human rights.
