Young Future Academy

Young Future Academy (YFA) is a youth group which is democratic, secular,
independent and not linked to any political ideology .YFA is formed by university
students. The purpose of YFA is to expand the young people potential, in the future to
take part in decision-making among young people to enhance communication and
cooperation. YFA was founded in Izmir, Turkey in 2008 by 5 young people. Now it has
112 members.YFA has also publishes an e-magazine for young people. YFA both carried
out many projects and has sent many participants to the projects.
The majority of the activities of YFA refer to few main areas:
- Promotion of non formal education through intercultural learning and international youth exchanges
- Strengthening civil society, citizenship and democracy in rural areas
- Promotion of rural tourism and agriculture
- Active role of youngsters on promotion rural environments
- Cross border cooperation
- Multiethnic, multilingual, multicultural and multi-religious cooperation
- Promotion of culture and art in rural areas

We are working with youngsters with different backgrounds and we are aiming on improving cooperation between peoples from rural and urban environments and enhancing education in rural environments.YFA also is working on promotion of European ideas.
