YMCA Brest

YMCA Brest – is a local branch of the National organization (YMCA Belarus).
The aim of our organization to give more opportunities for holistic development of children and youth of Brest through intellectual, spiritual and sport education and activity, through international programs and volunteer work.

YMCA Brest has 23 members, about 30 volunteers and about 200 participants of its programs. All our activity we organize on the base and with help of our partner schools and other educational establishments. We do some regular programs like: YOUTH FOR HEALTHY WAY OF LIFE (AIDS prevention and popularization of healthy way of life through PEER EDUCATION), TENSING (singing, dancing and drama performances), SCHOOL OF LEADERS (seminars and trainings for leadership education). Besides regular activity, our members and volunteers are taking active part in the events of other NGOs and social life. Recently we set cooperation with a centre for mental disable youth. Currently we are seeking host organizations for short-term voluntary service for guys of the centre.

All the work of YMCA Brest is focused on youth and children of Brest.
