The Partner-Finding Tool
YMCA Boyarka was founded in 2015 and is a part of the national YMCA movement in Ukraine. It is a volunteer-based, non-profit organization that seeks to serve the community, encourage youth active citizenship by promoting leadership and providing opportunities for local and international volunteerism.
We work in partnership with the local government and the Center for psycho-social rehabilitation to provide the best possible care for young people in our community.
Our main objectives are:
• empowering youth and developing leadership skills
• promoting personal fulfillment of young people and voluntary community work
• development and implementation of local programs for youth development (trainings, youth exchanges, events)
Our main programs are:
• youth leadership (workshops, 4-step training program Y STYLE)
• employability and soft skills for youth (workshops, job shadowing, internship)
• foreign languages (speaking clubs, English for NGOs)
• youth exchanges (intercultural communication, experience exchange)
Our organization is open to cooperation with other organizations and associations. We believe that sharing experiences and swapping ideas is a good way to foster positive development in communities and entire countries.
