Yap-cfd

Youth Action for Peace Germany - Christlicher Friedensdienst is a nation wide union of people who try to build bridges of understanding and to mitigate misery. The main request of Yap-cfd is to reduce national and cultural prejudices and animosity among people and to promote mutual tolerance.

Yap-cfd organises international workcamps in Germany and sends volunteers to workcamps all over the world.
It is also an active sending and host organisation within different term voluntary services (“weltwaerts”, IVS, EVS, etc.).
Another activity is the organisation of and participation in national and international seminars, study visits and youth exchanges; as well as the direct support of local projects in Latin America, Africa, Asia and within Europe.
Youth Action for Peace Germany is a member of the "Action Committee Service for Peace" (AGDF), the Association of Voluntary Service Organisations (AVSO) and the Co-ordinating Committee of International Voluntary Service (CCIVS).
