Xenophilia was established to create educational, cultural and social opportunities that connect people, communities and organisations across national and cultural boundaries.
Its activities are particularly oriented towards young people and towards initiatives based on non-formal learning, intercultural exchange, active citizenship, volunteering and participation in European cooperation projects.
The association is interested in developing activities together with schools, public institutions, local authorities, NGOs and other civil society organisations, both at local and European level.
Although Xenophilia is a recently established organisation and has not yet implemented Erasmus+ projects in its own name, its founding members bring professional experience in education, intercultural activities, international exchanges and cooperation with schools, organisations and local authorities.
Within Erasmus+ Youth, Xenophilia is particularly interested in Youth Exchanges, Training and Networking activities, Transnational Youth Initiatives and initiatives promoting dialogue between young people and decision-makers.
As a project partner, Xenophilia can contribute to participant preparation and support, local networking, educational and intercultural activities, communication and dissemination, and the organisation of local activities in Italy.
The organisation is especially interested in building long-term European partnerships and in gradually strengthening its capacity to participate actively and responsibly in international youth projects.
