VulcanicaMente is a non-profit association founded by four volcanic women in Lecce, Apulia, born as an open platform to offer opportunities in mobility, information, intercultural and intergenerational learning.
Our aim is to develop and enrich our land starting with the youth, in order to create a generation of active European citizens.

The aims of the association are:
- to create opportunities for social and cultural growth for young generations offering experiences in mobility, learning and information;
- to promote mutual understanding of the young generations in Europe and worldwide, enhancing cultural differences, breaking down stereotypes and prejudices;
- to promote the active citizenship of young people in general, particularly their European citizenship;
- to promote dialogue between generations aiming at growth and mutual exchange;
- to foster the spirit of initiative and entrepreneurship, promoting creative thinking and positive action on a local and international European level;
- to create a platform in order to facilitate the exchange of ideas, innovative experiences and information and encourage synergies that can contribute to the sustainable development of the land of Salento.

ACTIVITIES
VulcanicaMente works at local and international level implementing local initiative and European projects.
Local Initiatives
VulcanicaMente realizes and promotes the following activities at local level:

- Mentoring, coaching and guidance for individuals and / or small groups of young people on the process of personal and professional learning;
- Workshops, and seminars , infoday on European opportunities and more;
- European project planning, consulting and European project planning support ;
- Educational activities with experiential and non-formal education methods : training courses, urban games, interactive workshops;
- Socialization activities related to the spread of opportunities, dialogue among different cultures and generations .

European Projects
Vulcanicamente works at the European level in the education, mobility and vocational training fields.

We have developed European programs such as:

- Youth in Action
- LLP- Lifelong Learning Programme (above all Leonardo Da Vinci and Grundtvig actions)

and currently we are going to start with Erasmus + and Creative Europe programs.
