Volunteering for Peace

Volunteering for Peace, is a Palestinian non-governmental, non-profit organization aiming to participate in establishing a bridge between the different faith groups in Palestine. Volunteering for peace is a member of the Euromed Youth platform and a member in the Anna Lindh Euromed Foundation. Volunteering for Peace is aiming at serving the Palestinian youth and providing them with an opportunity to participate and host international intercultural and inter-religious exchanges.

Purpose: Giving an opportunity for Palestinian youth to participate at local, national and international youth exchanges programs and Building the capacities of Palestinian youth.

The Volunteering for Peace CC, was established to participate in establishing a bridge between the different faith and culture in Palestine and across the world. The idea came to create a youth working group to discuss in a regular basis regarding the different aspects of the daily life and to encourage cooperation between the different cultures. The name came from a Euromed program that took place in Greece in 2005 and in which participants from different countries in both Europe and Mediterranean met in Greece to learn about every community and every faith prospective to peace. Volunteering for Peace participated in different local and international intercultural exchanges activities in different countries around the world. Volunteering for Peace is active in the fields of intercultural exchange, capacity building, human rights, environment, non-violence and peace building. We organize different workshops, training programs and exchanges in topics of interest of Palestinian youth.
