The Partner-Finding Tool
With its mentoring program MUNTERwegs develops solidarity and promotes tolerance among people, in particular in order to foster social cohesion. MUNTERwegs has about 40 new mentors and mentées in Central Switzerland which are guided and coached by the team.
Volunteers from 18 years upwards work in the MUNTERwegs organisation as mentors/learning facilitators. Thanks to cooperations with the University of Social Science in Lucerne and the University of Teacher Education PHZ Schwyz, student mentors can also be involved in this programme. Their involvement with MUNTERwegs Mentoring Programme will count towards their university course.
The organisation is run by a team of three:
- lic. phil. Miriam Hess, president of the MUNTERwegs organisation, MA education science specialising in intercultural studies and rehabilitation and social sciences, lecturer for German as a Second Language and intercultural pedagogy, project manager, coach, course leader, adult trainer, networking with European partner organisations, coordination of participation on various EU educational programmes within Life Long Learning Programmes of the European Union, coordinator evaluations in cooperation with universities of applied science, Foundation Relations Management, various courses on healthy nutrition, yoga and relaxation teacher, nutrition advisor, PR consultant, public work, fundraising
- Karin Linder, psychomotor therapist for school services Emmen, project manager, coach, course leader, prevention, health education, adult trainer, PR consultant, public work, website
- Irma Draeger, bookkeeping, controlling, project management experience, support fundraising, adult teacher
