Urban Center Metropolitano

Urban Center Metropolitano is a supporting association in charge of the urban redevelopment processes regarding Torino’s metropolitan area, a means of research, reflection, education and debate over architectural and environmental topics.
Conceived in 2005, in cooperation with the Municipality of Turin, Compagnia San Paolo and Torino Internazionale, Urban Center becomes in 2010 an independent association, chaired by the Major of Turin.

In 2012 UCM opened its public base in the heart of Turin’s town center, where the association organize exhibitions, debates, workshops, urban itineraries, readings and other several events about the urban redevelopment processes and the town’s architectural topics.
UCM deals also with projects accompanying and redevelopment settings realization, in cooperation with local institutions as well as private and public subjects working on the territory.
