Upload – APS is an Association for Social Advancement based in Italy that aims at creating, promoting and implementing socially worth projects, including socio-educational and cultural initiatives.
Founded by a group of young and motivated professionals, it operates in the social, educational and cultural fields. Its main objectives are:
a) Developing activities carried out by children, adolescents and teenagers;
b) Taking part, implementing and/or promoting social, cultural, educational and artistic initiatives (such as events, conventions, conferences, classes, stages, workshops), knowledge sharing, critical sense enhancement at local, national and international levels;
c) Promoting formative and research-based projects both in Italy and abroad with the intent of creating cultural and artistic exchanges;
d) Promoting, expediting and assisting with the integration and blending of immigrants in the hosting territories through intercultural dialogue, to be understood as helping, interpreting and smoothing their relationship and communication with public services as well as private and individual citizens;
e) Working along with public administration, schools, universities and businesses, encouraging instances of peaceful confrontation, socio-educational and cultural activities and sensitization campaigns;
f) Creating and implementing activities aiming at improving the working skills through public (Community Service, University) and private (Stages, Scholarships) sectors;
g) Creating and implementing shows and exhibitions, printing and publishing newspapers or magazines, managing activities of mass exposure (websites, entries in general or specialized press);
h) Taking part, implementing and/or promoting activities meant to achieve the goals of the association.
