UPlanet

UPlanet is a non-governmental, non-profit organization based in Málaga, southern Spain, founded in 2020. Our mission is to empower young people to engage actively in their communities and in broader social, environmental, and political life. We focus on personal and professional development, sustainability, and international cooperation, using non-formal education and participatory methods to inspire critical thinking, inclusion, and civic engagement.

Our work revolves around creating inclusive spaces for youth to explore their potential, reflect on social challenges, and co-create solutions. We develop and implement Erasmus+ youth exchanges and training courses, combining experiential learning with practical tools to address issues such as environmental awareness, social inclusion, mental health, and active citizenship. Our projects often take place in natural settings, leveraging outdoor education and eco-friendly practices to promote sustainable living and reconnect with nature.

UPlanet operates both locally and internationally. In Spain, we run workshops and community activities that foster dialogue, intercultural exchange, and youth participation. Internationally, we collaborate with partners across Europe and the Global South to develop mobility programs and cooperation projects that enhance the global competence and social responsibility of young people. We also support volunteering initiatives and public awareness campaigns related to human rights, climate justice, and gender equality.

Our multidisciplinary team brings expertise in international cooperation, anthropology, environmental education, and youth work. We prioritize working with young people with fewer opportunities and aim to break down barriers to participation, ensuring equal access to learning and mobility experiences.

By empowering young people to realize their potential and become proactive changemakers, UPlanet contributes to building fairer, more inclusive, and sustainable societies.
