University Paderborn Chair Business and Human Resources Education II

The chair Chair Business and Human Resources Education II - Wirtschaftspädagogik II of Prof. Dr. Marc Beutner is settled at the department 5: Business and Human Resource Education of the University of Paderborn. The department is one of the six departments within the Faculty for Business Administration, Economics and Business Computing. The University of Paderborn comprises more than 2.000 people as staff and more than 17.000 students. The chair Wirtschaftspädagogik II is involved in youth education, adult education and vocational teacher education. It connects its teaching work to research and project work to sustain its activities. Our department is responsible for business education at the Faculty of Business Administration and Economics. Our research fields are innovative approaches in the field of youth education, adult education, vocational education and training (VET), pedagogics and didactics, evaluation, innovative learning approaches, curricular design,new media, mobile learning and e-learning. One of our main research fields includes issues of work and career options for young learners.

We are active in the field of European programmes for a longer time and were partner in several project and co-ordinated projects as well.
