United Future

United Future is a non-governmental organization dedicated to promoting learning through mobility, sustainable entrepreneurship, investment culture, and advanced technology. Our mission is to engage, inform, educate, and inspire Bulgarian youth to actively participate in civic life and expand their horizons by offering opportunities for travel, work, study, and volunteering both in Bulgaria and abroad. Our diverse team of young, motivated Bulgarians includes experts in law, engineering, social sciences, nature conservation, and information technology. We communicate in English, Bulgarian, and German.

LIDL is supporting our plastic waste separation initiative in 2022 and 2023 through their campaign: "You and Lidl for a Better Life", this is Lidl Bulgaria's biggest socially responsible initiative. Since 2017, the initiative has been supporting socially significant projects of NGOs across the country and aims to help people in different regions of the country lead a better and more fulfilling life by investing in the areas of education, environment, culture and historical heritage and active lifestyle. Through this initiative, we are establishing dedicated areas for people to deposit their recyclable waste, aiming to raise awareness about waste reduction and environmental pollution, see under Activities of our organization on Page 2. In Silven, Bulgaria, we conduct a monthly recycling campaign where individuals can bring their recyclables to us. We ensure these materials reach the nearest recycling depot. To date, we have successfully recycled over 6,000 kg of plastic, with increasing participation in each event.
