AIMS AND OBJECTIVES:
*Consolidation of the Kurdish youth community living in Georgia
*Integration of this community into the Georgian and European societies
*Protection of its rights and preservation of its cultural and religious values
*Promotion of such a society where the priority is to gain knowledge and professionalism
HISTORY:
The organization was created by Agit Mirzoev in 1996 as Union of Yezidi Youth of Georgia. After this the chairperson became Ilona Kochoy. In 2010 the organization was renamed to Union of Kurdish Youth of Georgia. Since 2010 the chairperson of the NGO is Elene Khudoian.
ACTIVITIES:
Non-formal educative seminars, training courses and conferences; active involvement into local and international (Armenia, Sweden) elections; Youth in Action programme; excursions, sport activies (promotion of soccer team IMAN, membership in the FARE Network), cultural events; charity activities.
Topics of the events: HR, intercultural education and communications, civic integration, youth participation, involvement of ethnic and religious minorities, building democratic and healthy society.

Union of Kurdish Youth of Georgia was founded in 1996. Main goal of the organization is assistance in development of youth policy and promotion of diversity.
