Ukrainian Centre of the Future (UCF) is a Kyiv-based non-governmental organisation founded in 2019, committed to fostering free development, active citizenship, democracy, and respectful non-violent communication. We work to increase trust and security in society and strengthen dialogue between generations and social groups.
A core focus of UCF is youth and adult education through non-formal learning, with special attention to emotional resilience, social-emotional learning (SEL), and civic engagement. Our programmes emphasise future-ready skills — creativity, innovation, empathy, and communication — as a foundation for active participation in democratic life. UCF experts design and deliver training formats that strengthen self-awareness, emotional regulation, and collaboration, combining psycho-social support with youth work practices to empower young people at risk of exclusion, including NEETs, IDPs, and displaced families.
Since its founding, UCF has implemented a range of projects across Ukraine and internationally: "Creativity Skills for Young Social Entrepreneurs" (Erasmus+ KA2, 2021–2023), "Creative Box: Promoting Innovative Approaches to Building" (Erasmus+ KA2, 2021–2023), "DFF: Dialogue for Future" (Erasmus+ KA2, 2020–2022), "Warrior's Values: Effective Defence against Fakes and Frauds" (Erasmus+ KA2, 2023–2025), and "Small Talks About Complicated Things" — a volunteer series of over 50 psycho-emotional support workshops for Ukrainian displaced persons in Warsaw. In 2025, UCF joined the "Culture Helps" programme (EACEA) and became a partner in an Erasmus+ KA220 higher education project coordinated by the University of Peloponnese (Greece).
