Tvornica znanosti

Tvornica znanosti (eng. Science Factory) is an informal group of university students (we are in the process of forming an NGO) trying to develop better opportunities for science education in Croatia.

In 2007 we started a workshop called Summer Science Factory in Split, an educational project open to youth aged from 8-18 where they can work on various scientific problems with the help of young scientist and science teachers. The workshop has since spread to other towns in Croatia and we have cooperated with other similar projects in Croatia. Participants are mostly from Croatia, but we are working on building an environment where we could sustain youth participation from abroad.
