TVF SPORTS HIGH SCHOOL

Our school started education after a protocol signed between Turkish Volleyball Federation and the Minister of Education in 2009-2010 in order to contribute sport education. İn 2014 its name was changed into Ankara TVF Sport High School. We have 4 principals,23 teachers and 320 students. Also we also have a student hostel 200 beds capacity.
Our school became a project school in 2016. İts aims to increase the schooll’s quality with the experienced staffs and aim to be a preffered school. İn accordance with this purpose; besides culture and sports lessons our school also gives importance to social facilities and projects to develop our students personal improvement.
Our aim is to raise successful sportsmen who will represent us in the world and raise students for university related with their branch;it has got importent degrees in voleyball and in indivudul sports since 2009 up to now.
Some of the degrees:
Our students gained important degrees in volleyball and degree individual sports.
2011-2012- young man category -3rd degree Turkey, young woman category -1st degree Turkey
ISF Word Championship France-Toulon İnternational School Sports Federation- Young Women Volleyball- World cup 3rd degree.
2012-2013- Junior boys Turkey Championship
2016-2017- Beach volley young woman 1st degree Ankara
2017-2018- young man(B group) 1st degree Ankara, Young woman (B group)
In addition to these, there are students who have won the World and European championships in individual sports.
We have participated USA centered international Destination-İmagination project competition, TUBİTAK Science Project and also done e-Twinnig projects.
We have done a successful TC Youth and Sport Ministry project called ‘Hand to hand to Sport’. With our school’s coordinatorship, young athletes and partially sighted teenagers attend sport facilities. İn this project our purpose to get teenegers together by the universal and connective power of sport and make them realize the obstacles in life; to empathy, respect, tolerate the diversities.
As a result of the various activities and projects carried out in our school, our teachers gained important experiences. Most of our teachers working in our school have master's degree in the field and gained expertise. Also our physical education teachers also coaching in clubs.
