Turkish Culture, Art and Interaction Association

"Association for Turkish Culture, Art and Interaction" was established in December 2011, it is a legal non-profit entity which operates in the private benefit. Major objectives of the Association are:
1. Revealing the history, nature and the process of cultural integration of the Turkish community with the Bulgarian and European culture;
2. To assist in enrichment of cultural knowledge and cultural communication in Bulgaria;
3. To make efforts to research, study, development of art;
4. To encourage research on dialects, folklore, customs, traditions and ethnography in the country;
5. To support youth initiatives in various fields;
6. To encourage civic participation and active youth involvement in environmental education;
7. To promote environmental protection strategies at local and European level;
8. То promote of European values among young people;
9. To create conditions for active involvement of young people both into social, economic and cultural life of the society;
10. To develop the international youth cooperation, to cooperate with foreign youth organizations;
11. To establish and maintain contacts and cooperation with similar organizations at home and abroad;
12. Assistance to government institutions in resolving issues related to culture, traditions and lifestyle;
13. Promoting mutual understanding between people from different countries and ethnic groups;
14. To develop solidarity and promote tolerance among people;
The Association achieves its goals through:
1. Securing, sharing and exchange of information and best practices from Bulgarian and international associations and organizations. Exchange of information and best practices with international networks developing similar objects;
2. Promoting customs and traditions of the Turkish minority in Bulgaria;
3. Collection, analysis and dissemination of information and education in the media about best practices in the field of culture and art to interact with other similar organizations to organize seminars, roundtables and conferences, symposia and theoretical conferences to organize committees and working groups set topics, to organize concerts, celebrations of national, religious and international holidays, festivals, organize meetings, discussions and conferences between young and elderly subjects of their choice;
4. Making, individually or jointly with other Bulgarian and foreign associations or organizations, companies and individuals, events allowed by law for information sharing and collaboration;
5. Publication of brochures, newsletters, newspapers, magazines and more.
