TSSF (Turkish Underwater Sports Federation)

Turkish Underwater Sports Federation (TSSF) is the sole national governing body for underwater activities and lifesaving in Türkiye. Established in 1980 and operating with administrative and financial autonomy since 2006, the TSSF has a highly diverse scope of work, uniquely managing 11 different sports branches under a single umbrella. These areas of activity include Scuba Diving, Freediving, Lifesaving, Finswimming, Underwater Hockey, Underwater Rugby, Spearfishing, Underwater Photography/Videography, Target Shooting, and Navigation.TSSF possesses strong international integration and capacity. It has been an active member of CMAS (World Underwater Federation) since 1981, consistently participating
in and achieving significant rankings in global organizations. Furthermore, TSSF is officially affiliated with ILSE (International Life Saving Europe)—where it holds a seat on the European Board of Directors—and the IWWF (International Water Ski & Wakeboard Federation). Our organization has a strong network due to its management of numerous sports disciplines. Thanks to its highly qualified team in the project sector, it has successfully completed many projects both domestically and internationally. It has the capacity to provide support both during the implementation and the planning phases of projects.
