Unit for Adult Education (EVO) is the biggest school organization in the municipality of Trondheim, the third biggest city in Norway with about 175000 inhabitants. EVO is a new organization and a re-organization of 4 different community organizations and projects, who were united in 2009. EVO has about 180 employees and about 1400 students and is the center for adult education in the region. The former organisations in this fusion have a long experience of international work and co-operations in both the Socrates, LLP and Youth in Action Programme. EVO has today mostly students that are immigrants, refugees or asylants, and we can offer Norwegian language training courses, ground school courses, vocational courses and different special pedagogic training (deaf, blind, logopedical, social support etc.) The students are from 16 to 60 years old.
