Think & Act is a young Italian Social Promotion Association (APS) founded by a multidisciplinary collective of young people, as activists, researchers, educators, social workers and cultural practitioners, working at the intersection of social justice, human rights, environment and culture. We design and deliver educational, cultural and civic pathways that provide concrete tools for individual and collective growth, self-determination and active participation.
A core focus of our work is recognising and addressing new, often invisible forms of discrimination and inequality embedded in everyday life, within language and representation, access to services and opportunities, and emerging social and digital dynamics. We create inclusive spaces for reflection and critical learning through transformative, community-rooted practices, combining critical pedagogy with participatory methods.
Culture and the arts are central to our approach. We use visual arts, performance, digital storytelling and cultural programming as tools to make complex issues accessible, spark dialogue, and activate community engagement. Alongside our ongoing educational and research activities, we are developing new programming that brings together seminars, roundtables, experiential labs and public-facing cultural moments, strengthening networks between civil society, universities and local communities and supporting inclusive, sustainable, locally rooted solutions.
